How the marathon goes
Duration: 14 days.
Marathon content: 5 themes in a challenge format where participants can shine and make new friends. The themes for the entire marathon are not revealed at once - they are surprises for the participants. A new day - a new challenge. There is no need to prepare for the start of the marathon.
Participants' level of English required:
2-3 years of purposeful and regular language study with a teacher or in a group (in addition to the school program). Approximately level A1 (movers): The child should be able to formulate simple and complex sentences. The level of English will be monitored by the teacher - i.e. the teacher will invite the child with the appropriate level to participate.
2 days for each topic:
  1. The first day is independent work. The child receives a task in chat or individual message every day at the same time for all time zones and completes it during the day.
  2. The second day - collaborative work of the whole group of children. Non-synchronously, everyone follows the link at a convenient time and completes a part of the group task, after the task is completed by the whole group - joint discussion (comments, questions).
Schedule and details:
Monday-Friday - active days.
Saturday through Sunday are rest days.

We start each new topic in the chat room with an introduction (guess the topic using emoticons/let's talk about.../) to set the mood for the conversation, to motivate to communicate in the chat room.

Performing tasks - common platform, chatting - messenger. tasks both there and there.

The Marathon is not tied to the curriculum the student is studying with the teacher.
Kids are required to set aside 30 minutes each weekday to complete the marathon tasks.
